Caroline Wilkinson is a visual artist living in Telegraph Hill, south east London.
After an MA Hons from Edinburgh College of Art/University Caroline went on to work in Slide-tape at the British Art Show, Whitechapel Art Gallery, Art Gallery of Perth, Western Australia and the ICA London.
With Installation work at Southwark Park Gallery, Museum of Installation and Whitechapel Open.
In the 1980s and '90s Caroline also worked in performance with Gary Stevens at the Sydney Biennale, Amsterdam, Denmark and throughout Britain and before that with The Theatre of Mistakes (Hayward Annual).
Caroline taught on the Fine Art and Critical Studies course at Central St Martins for seven years and MA in Textiles at Goldsmiths College and at Wolverhampton School of Art and Design.
Caroline was also a Visiting Lecturer in Birmingham, Southampton, Winchester, Belfast, John Cass and Middlesex University.
Caroline previously taught art in outreach with, among others, single homeless, the elderly in a Salvation Army hostel, and patients with cognitive decline at the Middlesex Hospital.
More recently Caroline has worked as a landscape gardener.
